Sakai is a fully customizable, 100% open source learning management system.

In the past year, I have had the opportunity to fully immerge myself into learning how to  navigate and develop courses within the Naval Postgraduate School's Sakai LMS. Prior to working with Sakia, I had developed a few courses within Lake Forest Graduate School's  Blackboard Learn and coursesites.com for my EDU 57500 final project so I was somewhat versed in the basic foundation of developing an asynchronous online course.

Below is an example of an Asynchronous Facilitator Certification course I created in Sakai for Navy Fleet & Family Readiness Training.
